About DHAPS

All funds are spent on the animals - the best quality feed and hay are provided in generous amounts as well as warm and comfortable accommodation. A donation or a legacy is always most gratefully received as costs are considerable when maintaining high standards of care for so many animals.

The years that Sylvia and Terry have devoted to the Sanctuary have been a labour of love, but in 2009 following the unexpected and very sad passing of Sylvia and the retirement of Terry the commitment of the charity has fallen to their son Roland and wife Alison and their family. In 2010 the family are going to follow in the footsteps of Sylvia and Terry and put all their love and commitment into the Sanctuary.
